Dignity for the Elderly Foundation — Kenya
A society where every elderly person lives with dignity, care, and respect.
Our Story
Kenya's elderly population continues to face poverty, neglect, poor health, social isolation, and limited access to social protection. Despite the enactment of the Older Persons Act (2022) and the National Social Protection Policy, many older persons—especially in rural and low-income urban settings—remain excluded from essential services.
The Dignity for the Elderly Foundation seeks to complement government and community efforts by restoring dignity, protection, and care for elderly persons through community-based, rights-driven, and inclusive interventions.
